School Library Web Page Awards - given to excellence in web sites of school libraries. Examine the winners.
Education Awards
Center for Digital Education - The Best of the Web (BOW) award and Digital Education Achievement Awards are given to websites in K12 and higher education.
Student Awards
ThinkQuest - Provides awards for the best student-produced projects. Check out their evaluation criteria.
General Web Awards
American Design Awards - This group gives monthly and yearly awards.
Favourite Website Awards - This award is given for quality design and use of Flash.
Golden Web Awards - Presented to those sites whose web design, originality and content have achieved levels of excellence deserving of recognition.
Pirelli Multimedia Award - Internet multimedia award
Webby Awards - The best known of all website awards, the Webby Awards are given each May for the best websites in 65 categories.
Weblog (Bloggies) Awards - These awards are given for the best weblogs and resources related to weblogs.
Web Marketing Association's WebAward Competition - This awards website has a cool animated "assistant" that tells you about the award. This a great resource to find quality websites across all fields.
