Dog Days

Cat Naps

I am sure that you have figured out by now that this pathfinder can be used for many different things. However, have you thought of all the things you can do? I am here to give a list of kewl ways you can use this website.

1) Take the online quiz from "Quizilla" to find out what type of animal works best for you and your family.

2) Find out lots of information about the animal that you want. Try to learn how much it costs, how to take care of it, how to feed it, how to play with it, and where to find it.

  • If it is a dog, cat, or fish you can look at the books, websites, and other sources we have already gathered for you. Just click on the catagory.

  • If it is another type of animal, look at the "more information" section to find where you might look for information about your future pet.

3) Show your parents everything you have learned through a PowerPoint. Once they see how willing you are to care for a pet, they might let you get one. You have to be persuasive though.

  • Click on the word "persuasive" to see what it means.

  • Click on the word "PowerPoint" to see an example of one.

4) Make crafts that have to do with dogs, cats, and fish. Your new pet will love to see the silly things that you can create. Maybe, you can even make something for them (some of our links have items you can make for your pets).

5) Adopt a virtual pet. If you can't get a real pet, a virtual pet is a good place to start. You can take care of it and play with it. You may even show it off in school (if the teacher lets you). Who know, your parents might just see how responsible you are with it and let you get a real pet.

6) Show your parents the "Parents" link. Maybe your parents will find information in there that talks them into getting a pet.

7) Name your new pet. Each of the dog, cat, and fish sections have links you can go to for animal names. There is nothing like knowing that you got to pick out the name of your BFF.

8) Cook your dog or cat some yummy treats. They will love you forever for it.

9) Email me with new websites, databases, books, videos, or other sources you have about pets.
