P.I.E.:
Teachers Love Dessert

Get a piece of the PIE (Professional connections, Instructional development, and Educational technology). Internet is a great resource for students, but it is also a powerful resource for the professional development of educators. This session explores how you can make the best use of teacher tools available on the Internet.

Internet is a great tool for teachers. For example, it can help teachers make connections with other teachers. Educators can find information about their profession, locate innovative teaching ideas, and identify help with technology. They can also buy online and find cool websites loaded with valuable information!

The first section explores Profession Connections including education journals, professional organizations, education agencies, big ideas, and grants.

In section two, you'll find Instructional Development resources including lesson plans, educational television links, and clip art resources.

The final section focuses on Educational Technology resources for teachers including model school sites, educational technology journals and articles, copyright materials, and acceptable use policies.

Enjoy,
