In January of her first year at New Haven, Mrs. Brower was recognized (212 Degree Award) for her work: "She has initiated changes in the library to give students access to more young adult literature and has updated the program to reflect the skills and tools students need for the 21st Century. She held our First Annual Book Fair to raise money for (the) library and started a Book Club for students who love to read. She helps maintain the school web-site and assists teachers and students with technology, including training for smart boards, databases, web 2.0 tools, etc. She has volunteered to be the Team Manager of the TechFest12 Top Gamers team and serves on the Indiana Library Federation's Eliot Rosewater Committee.
