Jane Kokotkiewicz wears “several hats" at Park Tudor School, Indianapolis, IN, an independent school for students in 3-year-old kindergarten through grade 12. She is department chair and curriculum coordinator of the media services department.

Jane holds a bachelor's degree in education from Butler University and a master's degree in education (instructional systems technology) from Indiana University.

She previously was director of information services at Lawrence Central High School, and held a similar position with Washington Township Schools. She has been a media specialist in both public and private schools, and in a variety of elementary, middle and high schools for 30 years.

Jane has also been a guest lecturer at IUPUI and Butler University and a presenter at the Indiana Library Federation and the Association of Indiana Media Educators.  She has served as a participant and coach for the Leading Edge Librarians Leadership Academy sponsored by the Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund. Recently Jane visited libraries in Slovenia with University of North Carolina's Graduate School of Information & Library Science (June 2005).
