IUPUI-SLIS Picnic
Students, Family, and Friends

As we passed through northern Indiana on the way to New York, we spent a couple weeks in South Bend. We invited all our "virtual students" from the past couple years to join us for a picnic at the KOA campground in Granger, Indiana.

After a storm earlier in the day, the weather cleared for a beautiful afternoon and evening.

Larry grilled hamburgers, turkey burgers, and hot dogs. People brought lots of food including a huge watermelon to enjoy.

We had a great turnout. It was fun seeing everyone face-to-face. We promise the students in the southern part of the state that we'll swing through their area next time.
