PIDT

The Professors of Instructional Design and Technology (PIDT) conference is one of our favorite professional gatherings. It's designed as an informal get together of university faculty and a few invited doctoral students. Because the audience interests and needs are very focused, all the presentations and discussions are very practical. Interactions and sharing are the norm.

Although we can't attend every year, we try to make it to PIDT whenever possible. Annette's been going on and off since the late 1980s.

This year the meeting was just down the road from our RV park in Estes Park at the YMCA camp.

Most people brought their laptops. With wireless Internet in the YMCA buildings, it was easy to share ideas and resources. Some people even posted to their blogs and uploaded photos live from the meetings.
