Cody Rodeo, Wyoming The city of Cody is the Rodeo Capital of the World. They have been holding rodeos there for 86 years. During the summer, the Cody Nite Rodeo runs every evening from June through August. |
An Evening at the Rodeo With our seat cushions and cameras in hand, we purchased our tickets and found seats above the chutes. We arrived a little early and enjoyed watching the people prepare. Many people are involved in the rodeo including children and young adults. |
Rodeo Events The rodeo events included bareback riding, cafe roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, steer riding, a calf scramble, team roping, break-away roping, barrel racing, junior barrel racing, and bull riding. |

Gas Prices Gas and diesel prices are getting so expensive we're considering a smaller motorhome. How about the one on the left? It looks like something out of Beverly Hillbillies. We found it parked near the rodeo grounds... only kidding we have a fortune invested in our Harvey RV.
