Activities
- Read books by Blue Balliet such as Chasing Vermeer with an art theme.
- Explore artists and recreate their work. Explore the Rockwell exhibit.
- Combine poetry with art. Use Bartleby.com or poets.org for poets such as Walt Whitman.

- Popart from MOMA. Explore an tag two hundred MoMA pieces of artwork.

- Tate. Explore Tate Kids, Learn Online, Barbara's Garden

Primary Source Documents
Activities
- Focus on historical photos in a particular category such as kitchens or stores. Compare different time periods. Search the Library of Congress Prints and Photographs for topics of interest.
- Use collections such as the The Way We Worked from the National Archives.
- Connect books and primary source materials since as the Bread and Roses project. Go to escrapbooking projects for lots of ideas.
