Travel to Springfield
Getting to Springfield is easy. If you're traveling by car, you'll find us on Interstate 55 (also known as Route 66 for nostalgia lovers), just 200 miles south of Chicago and 100 miles north of St. Louis. 

By plane, Springfield's Capital Airport is linked with the international gateway airports of St. Louis Lambert and Chicago O'Hare for daily flights. (you may find it easier and less expensive to fly into St. Louis, rent a car and drive to Springfield)

And by train, Amtrak offers several daily stops in Springfield between both Chicago and St. Louis, a leisurely ride through the countryside. (from the Springfield Visitor's Bureau)
