Understanding by Design

When designing learning materials, it's critical that the library media specialist and classroom teacher work together to find ways to increase information fluency. Over the past several years, many educators have embraced the Understanding by Design approach by Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe for designing curriculum and assessment.
