Virtual Field Trips
A virtual field trip allows people to visit a real or fictional place through computer-based audio, video, text, and/or photographs. For instance, you might visit another country or explore a volcano. Using microscopic photographs, you could take a trip inside a leaf. Using satellite photographs, it's possible to fly over the earth or into outer space. Using "stock" photographs, you could visualize the setting of a book or explore a historical setting.
